Questions and Answers:
After logging in, there is a FAQ section where questions and suggestions can be left,
please use them instead of writing bug reports in the reviews of the skill.
There is a video for importing data
https://youtu.be/U7HSW9eJDro
If your music files contain the metadata such as title, artist, album, etc. in an
ID3v2 tag,
it is possible to simply upload a list of URLs to the import section and the system will read the metadata automatically from the music files,
and write them to the database.
- With which servers does this skill work?
The skill works with all servers that are accessible via https and have a valid official SSL certificate,
so for example with your NextCloud Server.
Introduction how to use a NextCloud Server.
In order for https to work you need to install an SSL certificate. Chekout
https://letsencrypt.org/ for free SLL Certificates.
The skill may also work with other online storage providers, but we have not tested this yet.
- Do I have to enter each title manually or is there an easier way?
The system has the possibility to upload a CSV file, as you know it eg with Excel or LibreOffice Calc.
With this you can import all titles in one go. The format of the file is: either
"Title", "Artist", "Album", "Release year or a 0 for unknown", "Genre ID (0-147 or 255 for unknown) "," URL (Google Drive Link or Custom URL) "," Playlist IDs separated by semicolon (optional) "," 1 = Overwrite existing data or empty "," Line number (optional) "The quotation marks that include each value are optional , the character set is UTF-8.
Or if the files contain ID3v2 tags:
"URL (Google Drive Link or Custom URL)", "Playlist IDs separated by semicolon (optional)", "1 = Overwrite existing data or blank (optional)", "Line number (optional)"
There is a Google Spreadsheet plugin around in order to import the uploaded titles directly into a spreadsheet.
