Using a NextCloud server for My Music Player

01. Log in to the server and create a folder for the music collection.

02. Change to the new folder and create a folder for (eg) the album.

03. start the NextCloud client on your own computer.

04. Click on "Add folder synchronization".

05. Select the folder on your own computer to be synchronized and click on "OK".

06. Click on "Next" and select the folder of the music collection, then the folder for the album and click on "Next".

07. Finally, click on "Add folder synchronization".

08. Switch to the browser with the NextCloud server Oberfläsche and open the folder with the MP3 files.

09. Right, next to the listed MP3 files a symbol with three dots, which are connected with two lines, is displayed. Click this symbol. A window opens with a box labeled "Share Link". Click this box.

10. The box will be ticked off and a link will appear. To the right of this link is a symbol to copy this link. Click this symbol. Now the link is stored in the cache.

11. Open a text editor. Insert the link from the clipboard into the editor (eg via the keyboard with ctrl + v). Add a "/ download" at the end of the link.

12. (Option) At the end of the line, a playlistID (separated by a semicolon), a "0" for a new entry, or a "1" for "update of the entry" and a consecutive number can now be separated by a comma to add for the line number. (See format of the CSV file for import) Save file. (eg album name.csv)

13. Log into the website and click on "Import data" in the menu.

14. Click on "Insert file" at the top. At the top click on "Search ...". Select album name.csv and click Open. Click on "Save file" in the browser window. The contents of the file now appear under "Bulk import in CSV Format" window. At the bottom, open the pull-down menu (import complete) and select "Start import". Click on Save.

15. The browser now displays the menu bar of the page above, under which should now be, "File upload successful, [...]"

16. Wait a moment and click on "Data Import" again. In the lower half of the page you can now read the "Data Import Log".
